This guide will get you started doing research in Women's and Gender Studies, and, more specifically, for your assignments for WGST 372/RLST 373. If you need any help, use the Ask Us chat widget in the box below this one, or call 306-585-4133 to talk to someone at the Archer Library Help Desk. Ask Us and Archer Library Help Desk hours are the same, and are posted here.
You can also contact me, Donna Bowman, the librarian for Women's and Gender Studies, using the information in the box at the bottom of this page. If your question is more religion-oriented, you can contact the Religious Studies librarian, Brad Doerksen. There is also the general Religious Studies Guide, which is also a very good source of information for this course.
A useful text for all your case studies that your professor has suggested is available online from the U of R Library: Case Study Research: Principles and Practice , by John Gerring. Just click the link for the online version. You may have to sign into both QuickFind and the database the book is in, particularly if you're off campus. Use your UR Courses/computer lab/U of R email ID and password.
